Oh, those lines and my heart. I don’t want to be high and mighty, and I’m sure a few other fic writers would agree with me when I say that when I go back to re-read my fics as an outsider (looking for typos and failing, etc) I sometimes forget things that I write. So when I read them over and I see them, I kinda break my own heart. It’s silly but true. Those lines were my favorites of that chapter. That whole paragraph was my favorite.

As far as “A Study in Words and Numbers” goes, I have tons of ideas and plans for it! It’s already 17k words and I’m nowhere close to being done with it. I don’t want to give tons away but I will say chapter 10 is the last chapter before something will happen plot-wise. After that I may or may not ‘complete’ the fic and start a ‘new’ one, and do that as I go along and reach new…’sections’ of the storyline. Then I’d have a series thing. Because I’ve never been able to do one long of reading a 45-chapter fic (even though I’m being an arse and writing one!)
